Energy emitted from the skin.
Zera measures energy emitted from the skin on the forehead area. This energy is collected through our medical grade sensor and converted to a temperature value.
Our goal is to help you quickly and clearly understand skin temperature readings with your phone and with a clear color indication in our in-app display. The screen will display blue if the temperature is at or below hypothermic levels, green if no fever (normal), orange when the temperature is slightly elevated and red for a possible high fever. Five short beeps indicate temperature is high, in order to alert the patient that they may have a fever.
